At Frisco Fence, every project we take on is built with durability, craftsmanship, and long-term value in mind. Recently, we completed a premium fence replacement project in Dallas, TX, showcasing the strength and beauty of 8-foot pre-stained board-on-board Japanese cedar fencing.

Project Overview

This project involved replacing the front and right shared side fence of a residential property in Dallas. The scope included approximately 202 linear feet of fencing, designed to provide maximum privacy, structural integrity, and curb appeal.

From the initial planning phase to final installation, our team ensured every detail met our high standards and the homeowner’s expectations.

High-Quality Materials & Construction

For this installation, we used a premium combination of materials to ensure longevity and performance:

  • 8-Foot Pre-Stained Japanese Cedar – Naturally resistant to weather and decay while offering a rich, elegant appearance
  • Board-on-Board Design – Provides full privacy with overlapping pickets
  • 2 3/8” Galvanized Steel Posts – Set in Maximizer concrete at 6-foot centers for superior strength
  • 2x6 Pressure-Treated Kickboard – Protects the base of the fence from ground moisture and wear
  • 2x4 Cedar Rails (4 Rails + Kickboard) – Adds structural reinforcement
  • 1x6 Cedar Pickets with Trim & Top Cap – Clean, finished look with added durability
  • Simpson Brackets – Reduce long-term maintenance and prevent rust compared to welding

Custom Gate Features

This project included both functionality and accessibility with:

  • (1) Standard Swing Gate
