Overnight Commercial Chain-Link Fence Installation Inside Costco – Frisco, TX

When most people hear the word warehouse, they picture a back storage facility full of pallets and inventory. But at Costco, the warehouse is the actual shopping floor — the massive open space where members walk in, grab a cart, and stock up.

Recently, our team at Frisco Fence completed a 6-foot-tall chain-link fence extension inside the Costco warehouse in Frisco, and it was a project that required precision, planning, and flexibility.

Working Overnight to Keep Business Running

Costco is open seven days a week, which meant shutting down the store during business hours wasn’t an option. To avoid disrupting customers and operations, we scheduled the entire install overnight.

Commercial projects like this require:

  • Coordinating with store management
  • Strict adherence to safety protocols
  • Clean, efficient installation
  • Zero impact to next-day operations

By the time members walked in the next morning, the fence extension was complete and fully secured.

How We Secure Interior Chain-Link Fences

Installing a fence inside a retail warehouse is very different from building one outdoors.

Because this fence is inside on a concrete slab, the posts are:

  • Core-drilled or surface-mounted
  • Anchored with heavy-duty concrete wedge anchors
  • Precisely aligned for structural integrity and a clean finish

There’s no soil, no standard post-setting with concrete — everything must be mechanically fastened to the slab for strength and stability.

Why Chain-Link Inside a Retail Warehouse?

Costco and other large retailers frequently use chain-link barriers inside their warehouse stores to:

  • Separate restricted areas
  • Create secured storage zones
  • Extend existing partitions
  • Protect high-value inventory
  • Direct traffic flow

While we often install interior chain-link for tool cages, equipment cages, or secure lock-up areas, this project involved extending an existing barrier within the warehouse floor layout.

Chain-link remains the preferred option because it is:

  • Durable
  • Cost-effective
  • Transparent for visibility and safety
  • Easy to expand or modify

Commercial Experience You Can Trust

At Frisco Fence, we’ve completed numerous interior chain-link installations throughout North Texas. Commercial fencing requires a different level of coordination compared to residential work — from scheduling around operating hours to ensuring compliance with safety and structural standards.

Whether it’s:

  • Interior warehouse partitions
  • Retail security barriers
  • Tool and equipment cages
  • Or large-scale exterior commercial fencing

Our team has the experience to handle it efficiently and professionally.

If your business needs a secure, functional fencing solution — even if it has to be installed overnight — we’re ready to help.
