Commercial Fence Repair & Replacement Project in Frisco – Cowtown Materials

Frisco Fence recently completed a commercial fence repair and replacement project for Cowtown Materials at their Frisco location, and this job was all about restoring security, durability, and functionality to a high-traffic commercial site.

Commercial properties demand fencing that can handle daily wear, heavy equipment, and long-term exposure to the elements. This project required a two-part approach: repairing a section of existing fence that could be salvaged, and fully removing and replacing older fencing that had reached the end of its service life.

Scope of Work Completed

Chain-Link Fence Repair (Approx. 70 LF)

We repaired an existing 6’ galvanized chain-link fence by:

  • Straightening and re-setting posts where needed
  • Removing and reinstalling the existing chain-link fabric
  • Re-tensioning the fence for proper alignment
  • Adding new ties and clips to ensure long-term stability

This allowed Cowtown Materials to retain usable fencing while improving overall strength and appearance.

Fence Removal & Site Preparation (Approx. 100 LF)

For areas beyond repair, our crew:

  • Removed all chain-link fabric, posts, top rail, tension wire, and a double swing gate
  • Cleared brush, shrubs, and vegetation along the fence line
  • Hauled off and properly disposed of all materials
  • Left the site clean and ready for new installation

New Commercial Chain-Link Fence Installation (Approx. 100 LF)

We installed an
8-foot commercial-grade galvanized chain-link fence, designed specifically for security and durability:

  • 9-gauge commercial galvanized fabric
  • Three horizontal rails for added strength
  • Three-line, four-point barbed wire on top (total height approx. 9’4”)
  • Heavy-duty galvanized posts set on proper centers
  • Commercial double swing gate with wheels for smooth operation
  • Full jobsite cleanup upon completion

Built for Commercial Performance

This fence system provides Cowtown Materials with enhanced perimeter security, controlled access, and a professional, industrial-grade solution that meets the demands of their operation. Every detail—from post placement to gate functionality—was installed with longevity and safety in mind.
