Custom 8-Foot Board-on-Board Cedar Fence Installation in Frisco, TX

Last week, our team completed a beautiful custom fence installation in Frisco, and this one checked all the boxes for privacy, durability, and curb appeal.

This project included 235 linear feet of 8-foot-tall board-on-board Western Red Cedar fencing, designed to provide maximum privacy while maintaining a clean, timeless look that complements the home perfectly.

Project Details at a Glance

  • Fence Style: 8’ Board-on-Board
  • Material: Pre-stained Western Red Cedar
  • Top Cap: 2x6 Western Red Cedar
  • Trim: 1x4 Standard Cedar Trim
  • Kickboard: 2x6 Pressure-Treated Pine Rot Board
  • Gates:
  • (1) Existing driveway gate integrated into the new fence
  • (2) Additional standard gate (Pool Code)
  • Warranty: 10-Year Workmanship Warranty

Built to Match Existing Conditions

Because the homeowner already had existing fence lines and posts, this fence was carefully built to pull coat, ensuring a seamless transition between old and new. Attention to layout, alignment, and elevation was critical here, and the final result blends effortlessly with the existing structure while still delivering a brand-new look.

Why Pre-Stained Western Red Cedar?

Using pre-stained Western Red Cedar offers several advantages:

  • Immediate protection from moisture, sun exposure, and insects
  • Consistent color coverage on all sides of the boards
  • Reduced on-site staining time and mess
  • Extended lifespan of the fence from day one

Paired with a pressure-treated kickboard, this fence is protected where it matters most — at ground level — helping prevent rot, soil contact damage, and premature wear.

A Fence Built to Last

This project wasn’t just about looks. With solid materials, proven construction methods, and thoughtful details like the top cap and kickboard, this fence was built for long-term performance. And for extra peace of mind, it’s backed by our 10-year warranty.

If you’re considering a privacy fence, replacement fence, or custom cedar installation in Frisco, this project is a great example of what’s possible when quality materials meet experienced craftsmanship.
