Stunning Fence Replacement and Custom Electric Rolling Gate Completed in Frisco, Texas

At Frisco Fence & Stain, we love working on projects that combine beautiful craftsmanship with high-end functionality. This recent fence replacement in Frisco, Texas is a perfect example.

The homeowners wanted a fence that would provide maximum privacy, long-term durability, and a secure automated entrance for their property. We delivered a custom solution that not only enhances the home's appearance but also provides years of dependable performance.

This project included 194 linear feet of premium 8-foot-tall Board-on-Board privacy fencing, along with a custom 32-foot electric rolling driveway gate.

Built to Last

Every fence we build starts with a strong foundation. For this project, we installed:

  • 194 linear feet of 8-foot-tall Board-on-Board privacy fencing
  • Pre-stained Japanese Cedar in a beautiful Medium Brown finish
  • Heavy-duty 2 3/8-inch .095 galvanized steel posts set in Maximizer concrete
  • Premium 2x6 Japanese Cedar top cap
  • Standard 1x4 Japanese Cedar top trim
  • 2x6 pressure-treated kickboard
  • Three custom-built gates with black heavy-duty hardware and three hinges per gate

The result is a fence that's built for strength, beauty, and longevity while requiring less maintenance thanks to the factory pre-stained cedar.

Premium Pre-Stained Japanese Cedar

One of the biggest advantages of using pre-stained Japanese Cedar is that every board is coated before installation.

This allows the stain to protect all sides of each picket, including the edges that are difficult to reach after construction. It also provides a rich, consistent color from day one while helping protect the wood from North Texas sun, rain, and seasonal weather changes.

We finished this project in a classic Medium Brown color that complements the home beautifully.

Heavy-Duty Steel Posts

Wood fences are only as strong as the posts supporting them.

Instead of traditional wood posts, this fence was built using 2 3/8-inch galvanized steel posts set in Maximizer concrete. Steel posts resist rot, termites, and warping, helping the fence stay straighter and stronger for many years.

Custom 32-Foot Electric Rolling Gate

One of the highlights of this project is the custom 8-foot-tall by 32-foot-wide electric rolling driveway gate.

The system includes:

  • Heavy-duty welded steel gate frame
  • V-track and V-wheel rolling system
  • 4x4 steel guide and catch posts
  • Safety sensors
  • LiftMaster CSL commercial gate operator
  • Two remote controls
  • MyQ smart connectivity for convenient operation

This commercial-grade operator provides smooth, reliable operation while giving the homeowners secure and convenient access to their property.

Backed by Our 10-Year Warranty

Every qualifying new cedar fence we install is backed by our 10-Year Warranty, covering items such as:

  • Cracked, warped, or split lumber
  • Leaning posts
  • Rusting hardware
  • Defective hinges and latches
  • Sagging gates
